Hello Highlights!

Highlights Hello, a brand new magazine, just purchased two of my poems.  Hooray!  Looking forward to seeing them in print.  This is a great new magazine for children ages 0-2.  If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, please do.  It's sure to be a hit with little readers.

Dandelion Wishes

The fall was a flurry of book launch activity and I didn't get to share how great the recent Highlights High Five turned out.  Thank you so much to illustrator Pete Whitehead.  You did a wonderful job of making my poem "Dandelion Wishes" come to life!

Happy New Year!!!  I love the "fresh start" feeling that January brings.  So much ahead to accomplish and enjoy in the new year.  Do you feel it too?  Critique group starts again this weekend and I can't wait to see my writing friends and cheer each other on.      Lots of exciting things in the works.  Now, off to write!
