Hi, Cathy! I'll be featuring this upcoming anthology on my blog a week from Friday - on April 27. Do you have poetry in the collection? (I dropped the proverbial ball and didn't get a submission in by the deadline - which moved up while I wasn't looking!)Sounds like it will be great.
Hi Robyn! Yay that you're featuring this book on your blog. That's wonderful. Yes, I do have a rock climbing poem in the collection entitled "Rock n' Rappel". I'm really excited about it. Let me know if you need any info for your post. So great to hear from you. Hope you're doing well. Keep me posted on your latest writing adventures. Hugs, Cathy
Good for you! Congrats. I'm headed to PA again for another Highlights Poetry workshop next month. I'm thrilled to have two poems in THE ARROW FINDS ITS MARK, released last month, and poems in several haiku journals.
Congrats on THE ARROW FINDS ITS MARK!!! That's wonderful news! I can't wait to read your poems. And the Haiku journals too. So exciting! :-) I wish I could go back to PA with you. I miss our little cabins! Have fun!Keep in touch.
Cathy grew up in Illinois and still remembers the first time she heard one of her elementary teachers read poetry from Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk Ends". She was hooked! Cathy's poetry has appeared in the anthologies "AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!: A GLOBAL GATHERING OF SPORTS POEMS" and "LADYBUG, LADYBUG AND OTHER FAVORITE POEMS". She is also published in the following magazines: LADYBUG, HIGHLIGHTS HIGH FIVE, HIGHLIGHTS HELLO, TURTLE, HUMPTY DUMPTY, HOPSCOTCH, YOUR BIG BACKYARD, CONFETTI and WEE ONES, U.S.KIDS as well as Mc GRAW HILL EDUCATIONAL TESTING.
